Terms of Service
The terms governing use of BridgeLink’s communication, operation-coordination, organization, and subscription services.
01Operator and acceptance
BridgeLink is operated by HOLSETER DEVELOPMENT, a Norwegian sole proprietorship (organization number 830 131 922), owned by Joachim Holseter (“BridgeLink”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Business address: Steinstemmyrå 39, 4313 Sandnes, Norway. Contact: contact@bridgelink.app.
BridgeLink is an 18+ service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, join as a guest, use an organization workspace, or buy a subscription. By creating an account or using BridgeLink, you agree to these Terms. If you use BridgeLink for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.
BridgeLink presents Terms acceptance separately from the Privacy Policy notice before Discord sign-in and guest-name collection. Paid checkout requires a separate Terms checkbox in Stripe. The version presented may be recorded with the account, guest-join activity, or subscription metadata as evidence of the agreement.
02The service
BridgeLink provides real-time voice connectivity, operation planning and coordination, organization management, debriefs, archives, analytics, inventory, integrations, and related features for gaming communities. Features and technical requirements may evolve, but paid users will receive reasonable notice of material adverse changes where required by law.
You need a compatible device, internet connection, and Discord account for signed-in features. Voice availability may depend on participant networks and third-party relay infrastructure.
03Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping access to your Discord account and devices secure. Information you provide must be accurate and must not impersonate another person.
You may not break applicable law; harass, threaten, or exploit others; upload unlawful or infringing content; distribute malware; interfere with the service; evade access, plan, or rate restrictions; attempt unauthorized access; probe other users’ data; exploit vulnerabilities; automate abusive traffic; or use BridgeLink fraudulently. Security issues should be reported privately to the contact address above.
Organization owners and administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate roles, access settings, integrations, and webhook destinations, and for ensuring that content they enter about members is lawful and transparent.
04Your content and shared records
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant BridgeLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
Operations are collaborative. Content, participant details, logs, and archives may be visible to other participants and authorized organization members according to roles and access settings. Removing your account does not require deletion of another user’s content or a shared factual record, but BridgeLink will remove or anonymize your identity where reasonably possible and legally required.
You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed for content you submit, including personal data, organization logos, webhook payloads, and material concerning other people.
05Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Current prices, billing period, included features, taxes, and total due are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically for the same billing period until cancelled unless checkout states otherwise. Stripe may store the payment method for renewal; BridgeLink does not store full card details.
You may cancel through the billing portal in the Dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the already-paid billing period. Access to paid features continues until then unless the subscription is refunded, reversed, suspended for abuse, or otherwise stated at checkout. Deleting an account may require cancelling or ending its subscription first.
If a plan expires or is downgraded, paid features become unavailable. Free and Basic archives older than 14 days become eligible for permanent deletion at the next retention sweep; upgrade before expiry or downgrade only after exporting any data you need. Paid archives have no plan-based expiry while the relevant subscription remains active, but are subject to the Privacy Policy.
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days from entering the subscription contract to withdraw under applicable distance-selling law. To exercise that right, submit the online withdrawal form, download the standardized PDF form there, or send any other unequivocal statement to support@bridgelink.app before the deadline. We will acknowledge the request and refund amounts due using the original payment method within the legally required period.
Before checkout, a separate required checkbox asks you to expressly request that access to the subscription begin immediately after purchase and explains the possible proportionate charge. This does not ask you to waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived. If you withdraw after requesting that performance begin, mandatory law may allow a proportionate charge for service already supplied. Cancellation in the billing portal is separate from statutory withdrawal: cancellation stops future renewal but does not by itself request a withdrawal or refund.
Refunds, price-change notice, conformity remedies, and other rights are provided where required by mandatory consumer law or expressly stated at checkout. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights. You are responsible for applicable charges from your internet, device, bank, or currency provider.
06Availability and changes
BridgeLink is provided on an “as available” basis. We use reasonable care to operate it securely and reliably but cannot promise uninterrupted, error-free service or permanent compatibility with every device, game, network, or third-party service. Maintenance, emergencies, abuse prevention, provider outages, and security work may temporarily interrupt access.
You should export important records and avoid relying on BridgeLink as the sole copy of critical information. Beta or preview features may be changed or removed and may have additional notices, but ordinary paid features remain subject to mandatory consumer protections.
07Third-party services
BridgeLink integrates with services such as Discord, Stripe, Railway, Resend, and Metered. Their availability and your direct use of their products may be governed by their own terms. BridgeLink is not responsible for third-party accounts, content, or outages outside our reasonable control, but this does not remove responsibilities that applicable law places on BridgeLink.
08Intellectual property
BridgeLink’s software, branding, interface, and original materials are owned by the operator or licensed contributors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms permit use of the service; they do not transfer ownership. Separate open-source components and licensed media remain governed by their applicable licences and acknowledgements in the Third-party notices.
09Suspension and termination
You may stop using BridgeLink at any time and may delete your account from the Dashboard, subject to the account-deletion conditions described in the Privacy Policy. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, fraudulent or abusive activity, non-payment, legal requirement, or harm to users or the service.
Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken for urgent security, safety, legal, or abuse concerns. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination-including accrued payment duties, intellectual-property terms, and dispute provisions-continue to apply.
10Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BridgeLink is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss caused by content or conduct outside our reasonable control. BridgeLink does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from intent or gross negligence and mandatory consumer remedies.
Gaming operation information is for entertainment and coordination only. It is not an emergency, safety-critical, financial, or professional service.
11Law, disputes, and changes
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Norwegian courts have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in their home forum and the protection of mandatory law in their country of residence.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Norwegian consumers may seek guidance from Forbrukerrådet and may submit qualifying disputes through the public consumer complaint system administered by Forbrukertilsynet and Forbrukerklageutvalget. Consumers elsewhere retain access to any mandatory complaint or dispute-resolution process available where they live.
We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, or service changes. Material changes will be dated and, where appropriate, notified before taking effect. Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights, and continued use is requested only after the updated terms become effective.
